Terra

Terra - Academic Project
What is Terra?
Terra is a print & play cooperative environmental strategy game in which two parties of players seek to restore a demolished urbanscape in their respective images: one seeks to urbanize and repopulate the environment as much as possible, while the other wishes for nature to take the ruin’s place.
Terra was an academic project made for the course, IGME-220, Game Design & Development I. Our team was made up of five people. Below is a sell sheet I designed.

Role: Game Designer
- Collaborated in a 5-person team to brainstorm and establish an asymmetric cooperative game loop, balancing the tension between urbanization and reclaimed nature
- Balanced deck of event cards to inject strategic variance, environmental narrative, and mechanical challenges into each playthrough
- Designed comprehensive sell sheet to pitch the game’s unique value proposition, mechanics, and “print & play” format clearly and concisely
- Coordinated playtesting sessions, documenting player feedback to iterate on balance, clarity, and pacing
Tools: Google Docs, Affinity, some card creator i dont remember, the good old paper and pencil
Team Size: Five people
